The Beautiful Life was a show directed by Ashton Kutcher in which Corbin auditioned for in New York City. The show was picked up and added to the Fall Lineup for the CW with little promotion from the start. The show’s angle was about the secrets behind the life of young high fashion models.

Cast:

Corbin Bleu – Isaac (Child Model trying to find work as young adult)

Mischa Barton – Sonja Stone (Retired model making a comeback)

Ben Hollingsworth – Chris Andrews (Small town guy comes to the big city)

Sara Paxton – Raina Marrinelli (Love interest of Chris Andrews)

Nico Tortorella – (“it” guy, full of himself, has a crush on Raina)

Elle Macpherson – Claudia Foster (Modeling Agent)

Jaime Murray – Vivienne (interested in Isaac)

Fun Facts:

• The show actually filmed on location in NYC in Fall 2009.
• Many of the cast members had dogs and Corbin recalled some of them getting lose from time to time and everyone running around in-between shooting looking for them!
• Some of Corbin’s costars in the show included Mischa Barton from the late “The OC”, Sarah Paxton of “Aquamarine” and “The Last House on the Left” and Niko Tortorella who in 2009 and 2010 had a reoccurring role on ABC Family’s “Make it Or Break It”.
• The show first aired Fall 2009 to low ratings and episode 2 was the last aired on The CW in Fall 2009. Cast learned of the cancellation during the filming of episode 7 which was never finished. Unaired episodes 3-6 can be viewed on Youtube as released by the director. Although small attempts were made by both fans and Ashton to keep the show alive, revival was impossible and the show ended permanently.
