Corbin Bleu Fans has gone GREEN!

As you probably already know, the CBF webmasters work hard towards maintaining a loving and supporting community of fans. We’re very passionate about promoting awesome projects (generally all of Corbin’s) as well supporting worthy causes (such as Starlight). We’ve decided to take a environmental approach to making the CBF community bigger, better and now GREENER =)

How is CBF “green” you may ask?

Well, to answer your question simply, we’re using renewable wind energy to power up our website. If you’re a little confused about what that means, take a breather before you read the following.

CBF has switched web hosts. A web host company provides the server where we upload our website files so that they are accessable to web users a.k.a you guys. Our new web host provider uses those eco wind mill things (if you’re environmentally concious you probably can guess what we’re talking about) to power up their servers, thus making the energy renewable – it’s air after all.

Now after reading that you may be thinking “so what?”

Well we’ll reply by saying that we’re making a significant impact just by doing a simple thing such as switching to a “green” web host. Like mentioned before, servers hold our website files so that web users like you can view them. In order for you to be able to access our website at any given time of the day or night, the servers need to be running 24/7. Powering up a machine like that takes a LOT of energy. We’re cutting down on energy consumption by using wind-powered energy.
