Corbin auditioned and obtained the role of Usnavi in “In The Heights”, a popular Broadway musical about the life of those living in Washington Heights. As Usnavi, Corbin plays the role of a lovestruck young adult trying to find his way in his home town, culture rich community in Washington Heights. He learns about the importance of family and friend and being true to oneself and their dreams. Usnavi is not only on a path of self discovery but he learns more about his home and those who raised him.

• Corbin started the role as Usnavi in January 2010 until August 17th 2010. Fans of the musical as well as Corbin were skeptical if he could nail a role different from his past roles but greatly surprised skeptics and fans alike with his wonderful performance. Corbin has been recognized for his phenomenal performance as Usnavi by being nominated for awards for his performance.
• Corbin has taken parts in numerous events with fellow ITH cast members including attending “National Best Friends Day” with Lin, another individual to play the role of Usnavi.
